Wrentham Village Fete 19th July 2009
Despite the rain showers, the Village Fete held at the village hall, was well supported with many different local organisations, including surrounding villages, raising funds for their clubs and associations including Wrentham Village Hall funds.
Competitions were held for the Best Dressed Bicycle and Children's Fancy Dress, also Vegetables, and Cake competitions.
The Fete was opened by the Reydon & Southwold Corp of Drums who paraded outside the hall and, during the afternoon, inside on the stage. They gave a display which was very well received. There were a number of stalls with competitions and games, including raffles and draw prizes, children's Face Painting and Decorating Cakes. Village Memorabilia was on display in the committee room with DVDs of past village events.
